Påskefortælling year 2013

Here are my Easter story: Jesus was killed as a result of the overwrought atmosphere that prevailed in occupied Jerusalem. He died because contemporary citizens believed that people who are perceived as a threat to the social order must be removed and punished. Just as the prevailing attitude is today.

To perceive Jesus as the sacrificial lamb for our sins makes me absolutely sick at heart. I believe in a God who understands and embraces me no matter what I have been doing, and that is the nature of God, regardless of the crucifixion of Jesus. I also believe that I am part of a human community in which I must take the consequences of my actions.

Resurrection 2013

I think that a citizen of the then Jerusalem wanted Jesus to be buried in a place where his life could be honored and commemorated, and he sent for him and buried him in his own garden. Therefore, the grave was empty. Meanwhile, those who wanted to make Jesus a God invented that he was resurrected.

I believe in an immortal soul, on a course of life for each of us looking towards ever greater love fill.

As metaphor works better history. Who does not know to go live death through periods of his life? Where the quest for recognition, status or acceptance dulls our senses and makes us callous to each other, suffering in the world and the consequences of our lifestyle? So we include come to believe that gang crime must be combated with the removal and punishment of the leading figures.

Jesus and gang conflict

The profundity of Jesus was not his crucifixion, but his teachings. I think sometimes that it was the in 2013, Jesus spoke to. Only today, most of us a maturity where we can hear the message. In the Sermon on the Mount, he talks about, that it is not enough to comply with the law (the law of Moses, the 10 Commandments), but that it is intentionen, that is important. The intention to love our neighbor as ourselves, to turn the other cheek und zo weiter.

I see the world through Nonviolent Communication lens. Here we take based on our own and our counterparty intentionWhen we communicate, and we strive to dissolve any urge to violence in ourselves, so we do not start punishing those who have sinned against us or others.

From far to near

Not because it increases productivity, has an impact on the Pisa Study, or increasing private consumption. But because it wakes us back to life as living people against each other. As Howard Thurman says: Do not ask what the world needs. Ask what wakes you to live, and do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

My interpretation of the Paschal Mystery is borrowed from the book Wandering Towards the Light !. Read about it here.
